Error description

  • IMSDBREFRESH uses s DESERV request to get a list of members in
an ACB library concatentation in order to apply masking in the
DBD parameter. Two situations have caused errors with an
    IMSDBREFRESH command.
    1. If the ACB library is empty the IMSDBREFRESH command will
end with GCL01041E DESERV failed for DD=ssidACB, RC=8
    2. If the ACB library was very large, and a mask was used in a
DBD parameter, it is possible that the DBD that match the
maaskwere not found. This would result in message GCL34056E
Nothing found for keyword: DBD. It also may result in only some
of matching DBDs being found and processed.
