PM66294: DISPATCHER ERROR MESSAGE ON STARTUP NOT DISPLAYED IN EXPECTED LANGUAGE

Error description

  • In Cognos 10.1.1, the error message resulting from trying to
    click on a button in Cognos Connection while the services are
    restarting is not displayed in the expected language. It is
    persistently displayed in English despite what the language
    preferences are set to.  "The IBM Cognos gateway is unable to
    connect to the IBM Cognos BI server. The server may be
    unavailable or the gateway may not be correctly configured.
       Try again or contact your administrator." The problem
    persists when the language is set to "Use the Default language"
    (the browser language) except for Portuguese (Br) and maybe
    other languages.
