Error description

  • Followed the steps in Proven Practice document below to change
    the title in QS report but does not seem to work. Tested with
    Cognos 10 RP1 as well

    steps were followed :??1.       Create query studio report with
    English ? English (product/content)????2.       Save report with
    English title????3.       Change preferences to English ? French
    (product/content)????4.       Open same report in query
    studio????5.       Change report name to French title????6.
     Save report????7.       Change preferences to English ? French
    ?Canada (product/content)????8.       Open same report in query
    studio????9.       Report title once again displays in English
    rather than French????These are the exact steps taken from the
    above mentioned document , however the title remains in English
    when French-Canada is chosen. If I select "French" instead ,
    then the saved title is shown in French , however this is
    contradicting to the statement in the document page 7 that says
    "Return to IBM Cognos Connection and set your Content Language
    to French-??Canada.??Open the ?ML Order Year? report in Query
    Studio. Notice that the titles are??now in French. This occurs
    because a matching set of French titles exist in??the
    report."??????

  • Save the title for each locale-region
