Error description

  • You work with IBM SPSS Statistics 20 and created a Production
Job *.SPJ file. After running the job you locate the Session
Journal file Statistics.jnl on your computer to check what
syntax commands have been executed in the single SPSS sessions.
You notice when you run syntax commands 'normally' all commands
in the Journal file are displayed without warning.
However, syntax files run via production job are displayed with
an extra FIN command at the end of the session journal and a
    warning # 41 is displayed:

    FIN.
    *>Warning # 41. Command name: FIN
*>The FINISH command is not permitted when using the SPSS
    Statistics Manager. A
*>session should be terminated by using the "Exit" menu item.

This was reported to IBM SPSS Development but the issue does not
affect functionality of Syntax and Production Mode facility.
