  *                      The reported error occurred when        *
  *                      attempting to acquire some internal     *
  *                      storage. The pointer to the storage     *
  *                      was corrupted causing the abend.        *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  SUMMARY OF DB2 EVENTS:
  DB2 was attempting to acquire more storage to accommodate the
  size of a large statement with many OR predicates.  This
  resulted in an error as the pointer to the new storage was
  corrupted because it was overlayed.
  

Problem conclusion

• DB2 has been fixed to point to the correct address when
  acquiring new storage.
