Error description
Intermittent Disk Read/Write errors when using HTTP/S Adapter.
Local fix
WTXCQ - WTX00040563 GK / GK Circumvention: None
Problem summary
Users Affected: WebSphere Transformation Extender FTP/S, HTTP/S and Event Agent/SSL users will be affect, particularly when running in multi-threaded environments. Problem Description: Intermittent file I/O errors occurring when running with the HTTP/S Adapter. Platforms Affected: ALL
Problem conclusion
The WTX HTTP/SSL component no longer performs a double closure on the socket that is connected to the SSL Server. Before this fix, the SSL component would perform a double closure on the same socket. As a result of this fix, multi-threaded environments will not run the risk of periodic map and file failures, since the SSL component will not perform a file descriptor close on the same socket that has started to be used by another mapping function.
