PM64066: ALAA040E-UNSUCCESSFUL PUT FOR ROWDATA DD

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using only Miscellaneous filters in Log Analysis Tool and a
  duplicate LRSN is encountered in DB2 log records that modify the
  same table row, various abends can occur. It is impossible to
  pinpoint every possible outcome of this situation, but noted
  results have included VSAM PUT errors (ALAA040E-Unsuccessful PUT
  for ROWDATA DD), and ALAA447E/ALAA440E messages.
  

Local fix

• Add an Object filter to the existing Miscellaneous filter. The
  Object filter needs to be added via the ISPF panels, not
  directly through the JCL.
