PM63885: IMS ABENDS FRAGMENTED STORAGE WHEN SYSPLEX MANAGER ACTIVE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IMS issues an ABENDU0732 because of fragmented storage. This
  occurs whe Sysplex Manager is active and the user has supplied
  his own DFSAOUE0 exit. The storage is save areas not freemained
  by Sysplex Manager R130.
  Additional Symptoms:  Can also result in
  MSGDFS1269E SEVERE IMS INTERNAL FAILURE, REASON CODE=4557
  for LUMP pool storage and ABENDU0119.  Subpool0 Key7 private
  storage is filled with x'1000' byte allocations where the
  first x'40' bytes are free.  VSMDATA shows the pattern

  The pages of storage contain saveareas where R12 points to
  GJEAOE0B (or GJEAOE0A / GJEAOE0C depending on IMS release).

Problem summary

• Install the fix.
  
  Note: Installation of this maintenance requires the IMS Control
        Region to be recycled.
