Error description

  • Using PLI3.9 Integrated Translator to compile a CPSM API prog
    with options PP(CICS(NOSOURCE,CPSM)) , message IBM1442I is
    issued:

    IBM1442I W The ENTRY/RETURNS description lists in the ENTRY to
        be assigned to EYUEI0 do not match those of the target
        variable.
    .
    The EYUEI0 and EYUEI01 created by CICS translator are the
    follow:

    DCL   EYUEI0 ENTRY VARIABLE INIT(EYUEI01) AUTO;
    DCL   EYUEI01 ENTRY OPTIONS(INTER ASSEMBLER);

    So there is a mismatch between statement EYUEI0 , that is
    declared with OPTIONS INTER ASSEMBLER , and the declaration for
    EYUEI01 that doesn't have any OPTIONS attribute.

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When using the CPSM translator option with the option RULES
    (NOLAXLINK), there is a mismatch between the OPTIONS
    attributes for the declarations of EYUEI0 and EYUEI01
    created by the CICS translator. This results in message
    IBM1442I E.
    The mismatch was because statement EYUEI01 is declared with
    OPTIONS INTER ASSEMBLER, but the declaration for EYUEI0 does
    not have any OPTIONS attribute.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHEXMTD/DFHEIMTD has been changed so that the ENTRY declaration
    statements EYUEI0 and EYUEI01 have the same OPTIONS attributes.
