Error description

  • When i import them a lot of elements are correct, but some are
    not. So for
example all stereotypes used in the EA model are no longer
    available and
it seems that they are not recognized any more. So how must be
    stereotypes
be defined in the XMI file so that they are recognized and
    created?
But the main problem i have is that the typdefs, structures are
displayed as classes and not as types in Rhapsody. For
    enumerations it is working
fine. So can you please tell me how the typedefs and structures
    must be
written in the XMI file so that the import recognize them and
    does this
    in a correct way?

    EA XMI not UML2/XMI valid.
-Stereotype extension uses not standard uri for reference
    uml metaclasses
-Some uml metaclasses do not exist (for instance "Note")
-Usage of non existing stereotype attribute when applying
    stereotypes
    -Some

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed in 7.6.1.2.
Now all references to UML metaclasses are converted to a
    valid URI
False UML metaclasses are converted to existing ones
    (Note-?Class)
    Non-existing stereotype attributes are now:
    - ignored if considered as useless
    - recorded for displaying errors rather than breaking the
    import
