APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • DATABASE STOP, DISPLAY and START may return a message in the
range between DSNT300I and DSNT399I that indicates an error with
    the command has occurred.
For example, DSNT300I indicates there is an authorization
failure. This message is ignored and the command is erroneously
marked as completed successfully when it has not.
    .
The code has been changed to detect certain message IDs sent by
DB2 in response to DB2 commands sent by the Cloning Tool command
processor. Messages that terminate the job are those that
affect multiple or all DB2 database commands.

Local fix

  • Scan CKZLOG for DB2 command responses that indicate a problem.
These errors could affect, among other things, dataset
allocation during the source job copy or access after the target
    job has completed.
