PM59411: SUPPORT TO RECOVER THE AREA THAT IS EXTENDED BY OAE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customers cannot use the image copy taken prior to OAE for the
  recovery.
  And restarting OAE with shadow expansion cause an ABENDU3599.
  
  Note: This APAR will work in conjunction with IMS V12
  APAR PM51636, although can be installed independently.

  *                      extended by OAE.                        *

  *                      cause a U3599 abend.                    *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  *                 INSTALL CORRECTIVE SERVICE FOR APAR/PTF      *

  . This APAR enables OAE to extend the image copy that is
  taken prior to OAE, along with the DEDB area, in order to
  recover the area that is extended by OAE using the extended
  image copy. OAE extends the image copy data set that is
  registered in the RECON data sets when the following conditions
  are met:
   .IMS V10 or later
   .The ICEXTEND keyword is specified in SYSIN DD for shadow
    expansion or the ICEXTEND=YES keyword is specified in FPXIN DD
    for original expansion
   .The target extended image copy data set(s) FPXBIC01 DD or/and
    FPXBIC02 DD is specified in JCL
   .The area is extended for the SDEP portion only.
  
  . This APAR also fixed the code errors related to OAE restart.
