Error description

  • In CQWeb, while adding a new entry in a list view, the workspace
that is brought up when the 'Browse' button is pressed does not
include any modification to the workspace (typically new
queries) created using the CQ API in the current user session.
The Windows native client, even if the main workspace in the
client GUI is never refreshed until a new session is started,
does load a refreshed workspace when the browse button is
pressed. at the same time, the main workspace in the CQWeb
client can be manually refreshed by using the 'Refresh' context
menu option, but this context menu option is not available in
the workspace brought in the 'Browse' dialog box.
This issue is particularly problematic when the queries are
added in hooks associated with the control buttons. For example
a query that is created in the pre-action hook of the 'Add'
button can only be seen in the 'browse' workspace if the action
is manually canceled, the main workspace is refreshed with the
'refresh' context menu option and then the 'add' is repeated.
This workaround defeats the purpose of adding the query in the
    pre-action hook.

In ClearQuest Web, when adding a new entry in a list view
and then pressing the "Browse" button, the workspace that is
brought up does not include any modifications that were done
using the CQ API (typically new queries) in the current user
    session.
