Error description

  • In CQWeb, if a list view control does not include a column
    displaying the field designed as unique key in the referenced
    record, the list appears with a sort order when the list view is
    first loaded on the record form. When the form is refreshed, the
    reference list items show in a different order.
    
    The refresh can occur by manually clicking the refresh button on
    the CQWeb GUI or by an action that triggers a refresh, such as
    opening one of the referenced records, modifying it and saving
    it.

    ClearQuest Web list view control fields have an inconsistent
    sort order if the unique key field of the reference record
    is not displayed.? When a CQ Web record with a list view
    control field is first loaded it is sorted.? Refreshing the
    record sorts the reference list in a different order.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available in ClearQuest 8.0.0.4 and 7.1.2.9.
