    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS *
    * GEN function does not create the *
    * correct syntax for a CREATE PROCEDURE *
    * statement. If The CREATE PROCEDURE *
    * statement has a CHAR or VARCHAR *
    * variable which is set to more than *

    *                                                              *
    *                      For example:                            *
    *                                                              *
    *                      Create Procedure ...                    *
    *                      ...                                     *
    *                      DCL variable1 Varchar(2000);            *
    *                      ...                                     *
    *                      set variable1  = 'String';              *
    *                      ...                                     *
    *                                                              *
    *                      The VARCHAR(2000) will truncate         *
    *                      to VARCHAR(762).                        *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    If the CREATE PROCEDURE statement has a CHAR or VARCHAR
    variable which is set to more than 762 characters, the GEN
    function will truncate the value of the declared variable.
