  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A stored procedure declares a static    *
  *                      rowset cursor WITH RETURN and opens     *
  *                      it for remote execution.  The open      *
  *                      request encounters an internal error    *
  *                      and DB2 abends with:                    *
  *                        ABEND04E RC00D3440B DSNLXROP:0068     *
  *                      The problem occurs after APAR PM45483   *
  *                      is applied.                             *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  A stored procedure declares a static rowset cursor WITH
  RETURN, opens it for remote execution, and fetches all of the
  rows from the cursor.  When processing the SQLCODE +100 for
  the fetch, DB2 incorrectly deletes an internal control block
  required for any subsequent open of the same static cursor.
  When the stored procedure subsequently opens the cursor again,
  DB2 detects the error and abends as described.
  The problem only occurs after applying APAR PM45483.
  

Problem conclusion

• DB2 has been changed to retain required control blocks needed
  for subsequent opens of a rowset cursor declared WITH RETURN
  under a stored procedure.
