PM54467: D2#3 JOB FAILED WITH ABENDS013-EC

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Upgrade OMEG XE for DB2 PE to v5.1.0 from v4.2.0 and attempt to
  run D2#3.  It's failing due to a conflicting LRECL sizes in
  STEP3.

  D2#3 job gets ABEND IEF450I D2#3INST STEP3 - ABEND=S013 U0000
  REASON=000000EC.
  
  SYSUT2 (RKO2PROF in this case) has no bearing on dataset type
  (it can be a PDS or a PDSE).  It's SYSUT1 being a PDSE where
  IEBGENER fails
  if TKO2DATA LRECL is different from SYSUT2.  If SYSUT1 TKO2DATA
  is a PDS, and it gets copied to a different LRECL RKO2PROF,
  whether
  RKO2PROF is a PDSE or PDS, the IEBGENR step doesn't fail.
  
  The PTF will remove the IEBGENER step in ICAT's D2#3 job and
  provide a new mandatory post-configuration step in the Complete
  the Configuration.  This is the documentation that all customers
  will go through so they will read this step and can copy the
  profile to the target library for themselves.
  

Local fix

• For the IEBGENR ABEND S013 exposure, temporarily create a
  non-PDSE version of TKO2DATA and use the later as the input to
  the IEBGENR step.
