Error description

  • HD Pointer Checker (HDPC) issues MSGFABP1955E erroneously when
    the following conditions are met:
     - HASH=YES and IXKEYCHK=YES are specified in the PROCCTL in a
    HDPC job
     - A /SX field is specified on the SUBSEQ= operand of the XDFLD
    statement in the indexed database
     - An index source segment is split to a prefix and data portion

    *                 users who run HD Pointer Checker (HDPC) with *
    *                 HASH=YES and IXKEYCHK=YES.                   *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: HDPC erroneously issues MSGFABP1955E    *
    *                      when running the HASH Check with        *
    *                      IXKEYCHK=YES in an HDPC stand-alone or  *
    *                      HPIC job.                               *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
    ****************************************************************
    When the following conditions are met, HDPC erroneously issues
    MSGFABP1955E:
    - HASH=YES and IXKEYCHK=YES are specified in the PROCCTL data
      set in a stand-alone (FABPMAIN) job
      or
      HDPC=Y and IXKEYCHK=Y are specified in the ICEIN data set in
      an IMS High Performance Image Copy (HPIC) job.
    - A /SX field is specified on the SUBSEQ= operand of the XDFLD
      statement in a HDAM or HIDAM database.
    - An index source segment is split to a prefix and data portion.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The modules FABPHSDA and FABPSTAP are modified to fix the error.
