  In DB2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS, when using Compare
  function to compare table spaces with a partitioned index
  and specifying a MASK field 'SEGSIZE:*,n', if the index needs
  to be recreated, a SQLCODEN662 / SQLCODE =-662 error is issued.
  The masking leads to incorrectly generated DDL which causes a
  table space conversion from partitioned to range-partitioned
  Universal Table Space (UTS).
  

Problem conclusion

• Program has been updated to catch the invalid statement which
  was produced in the change file after compare.  The compare
  job will fail with a RC08 and an error message MSGADB7112E
  generated as below:
  
  ADB7112E The CREATE INDEX statement can lead to error
  SQLCODEN662/SQLCODE -662, because a partitioned index cannot
  be created on a table which is in a  non-partitioned/
  partition-by-range/partition-by-growth table space.
