Error description

Virtual member manager (VMM) will search in both the
searchBases sent in inputDo for search() API call. When
searchBases are overlapping to each other, then results for
search() API call return duplicate entries. This causes a
failure in login.

Virtual member manager (VMM) does not handle overlapping
seachbases either sent in clientDO or configured in
wimconfig.xml
The search() with overlapping searchbases is not treated
properly and returns an entry redundently. This results in
login() failure with DuplicateLogonIdException.

Problem conclusion

VMM has been corrected to longer return the same entry twice.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.43 , 7.0.0.23 and 8.0.0.3.  Please refer to the
