  • HD Pointer Checker erroneously issues MSGFABP0004E in a DRF job
when DRF recovers a database and Index Builder builds a
secondary index database but the secondary index database is
empty.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: HDPC erroneously issues MSGFABP0004E in *
*                      a DRF job when a secondary index        *
*                      database built by Index Builder is      *
*                      empty.                                  *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
****************************************************************
When IMS Index Builder builds a secondary index database in a
DRF job but the secondary index database is empty, HDPC issues
MSGFABP0004E erroneously.

Problem conclusion

  • The modules FABPHEXM and FABPHEXS are modified to fix the error.
