    * but this error would only appear in *
    * the ADBDIAG output if it was being *
    * produced, otherwise, the WSL would *
    * just end wit no adverse return code. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The program was changed to end with an adverse return code if
    any unexpected SQLCODE is produced by any SQL statement and
    make it obvious to the end user that there was a problem.
    Additionally, the program was corrected to preserve cursors
    that need to remain open even if a commit happens which will
    prevent the SQLCODEN501 / SQLCODE=-501 problem.
