Error description

  • Installing the ClearQuest 7.1.2.4 Eclipse client does not
    generate an entry in 'Add or
    Remove Programs'.   Microsoft provides reports that use entries
    in 'Add or Remove Programs' to determine what software a machine
    has installed.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Installing the ClearQuest 7.1.2.4 Eclipse client does not
    generate an entry in the Windows "Add or Remove Programs"
    Control Panel.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available in ClearQuest 8.0.0.2.
    
    A new entry will be created per product with a button to start
    the uninstall process using Installation Manager.
