Error description

  • Moving a VOB from a Windows VOB server to a Linux VOB server
    requires a reformatvob, where
    1. 'reformatvob -dump' is run on the old Windows VOB server
    2. The VOB storage is moved to the new server
    3. 'reformatvob -load' is trun on the new Linux VOB server.

In this process important UCM change set data can be destroyed,
    yielding unexpected result
to UCM operations when accessing the VOB after the mood.
For example, trying to deliver from a development stream files
that were checkedin before the server move
may find: No versions require merging in stream
    'myproject_Integration'

    Steps to Reproduce:

    1. 'reformatvob -dump' is run on the old Windows VOB server
    2. The VOB storage is moved to the new server
    3. 'reformatvob -load' is trun on the new Linux VOB server.

    Workarounds:

    1. For any files that should be delivered but get ignored,
create a new (identical) version of the same file
then deliver from stream and the new version shall be merged.
