Problem conclusion
When an SKPT is removed from the EDM pool any SHTE control blocks that were created for the SKPT that are not in use are freed. DB2 code did not check the SHTE to see if storage had been allocated for the statement text. The storage for the statement text could be orphaned eventually causing the ABEND with RC00E2000C. The code has been updated to free the storage used for the statement text when the SHTE is freed.
