Error description

• When creating a new Baseline from a prep project the 'Version
  Template' is used for the version string of any new static
  projects created as a  result of the Create Baseline operation.
  If the Version template
  results in a string that is too long (32 characters for v7.1)
  then the version string defaults to just a date string (or date
  string plus a number as necessary).  The tools does this w/o
  error or warning to the user.  The tool needs to produce an
  error or warning so the user knows what has happened, or better
  yet, ask for confirmation before continuing.
  
  
  Note that if you do a 'Preview Versions' on the Create Baseline
  dialog Synergy DOES open the message view and display a warning
  about the
  version string being too long.  As a minimum, the same should
  happen when the Baseline is created.
  
  Workaround is to verify before creating the baseline you are
  under the 32 character limitation.
