Error description

  • You work with IBM SPSS Statistics 20 and you have installed the
    Python Essentials for Statistics 20 too.
    After you create some fast rendered pivot tables you run a
    Python program to insert some corner text in the corner of the
    pivot tables as in the example below:

    BEGIN PROGRAM.
    import SpssClient
    SpssClient.StartClient()

    objOutputDoc = SpssClient.GetDesignatedOutputDoc()
    objOutputItem = objOutputDoc.GetCurrentItem()
    objPivotTable = objOutputItem.GetSpecificType()
    objPivotTable.SetCornerText("Corner text")

    SpssClient.StopClient()
    END PROGRAM.

    However, on the fast table the "corner text" is not displayed.
    When you run the same program for a full rendered pivot table
    the text is displayed in the corner. Therefore please use full
    rendered tables as a workaround:
    SET TABLERENDER = FULL and then run your Python program.
    This issue was reported to IBM SPSS Development and is targeted
    to be resolved with IBM SPSS Statistics 20 FixPack 1.
