Error description

• This APAR will address the following issues:
  - Journal archive cleanup utility lists all journal archive
    records in the CEX repository for the requested ICON system
    when FUNCTION=L (list). CEX Users Guide states that FUNCTION=L
    only list those records that are older than the retention
    period specified in the system definition.
  - Journal archive cleanup utility does not have a way to only
    list the archive records that would be deleted if FUNCTION=R
    (remove) was requested.
  - Journal archive cleanup utility only prints GMT date/time for
    archive records.

  This APAR is addressing the following issues:
  1. Journal archive cleanup utility lists all journal archive
  records in the CEX repository for the requested ICON system
  when FUNCTION=L (list). CEX Users Guide states that
  FUNCTION=L only list those records that are older than the
  retention period specified in the system definition.
  2. Journal archive cleanup utility does not have a way to only
  list the archive records that would be deleted if
  FUNCTION=R (remove) was requested.
  3. Journal archive cleanup utility only prints GMT date/time
  for archive records.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following changes have been made for the above issues:
  1. CEX Users Guide will be changed to reflect the what is done
  by the LIST function (list all journal archive records in
  the repository for the system).
  2. Added CHECK=(NO|YES) parameter to allow the user to
  "simulate" the FUNCTION=R (removal of archive records).
  If CHECK=YES is specified, the CEXPRINT data set list will
  contain the journal archive records that would have been
  deleted if CHECK=NO was specified.
  3. Added ZONE=(GMT|LOCAL) parameter to allow the user to
  choose between GMT date/time and LOCAL date/time
  printed for the journal archive record information.
