PM50251: READING FROM ONE EXCEL SHEET AND EXPORTING INTO ANOTHER IN THE SAME WORKBOOK TRIGGERS ERRORS WHEN OPENING FILE IN EXCEL

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• I read from an Excel file sheet, create a few fields, and export
  into the same Excel file onto another sheet. If I do it twice,
  then I cannot open the file anymore in Office 2003; in Office
  2007, Excel triggers an error message asking whether it should
  attempt and repair the file.
  

Local fix

• Allow Excel to repair the file and save it under a new name.
