APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • SWIFT mentions that there have to be no RMA Key for Sending
    MT670 to SWFTXXXX. SWFTXXXX is the only receiver for MT 670
    that is not replied with a NAK. But due to the NETSPEC=AUT entry
    in DWSMTTTC there is a RMA check initiated that should not be
    initiated.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: All using SR2011 changes. *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The new messages MT670 and MT671 do not *
    *                      require RMA authorisation.              *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The new messages MT670 and MT671 are defined in copy book
    DWSMTTTC with parameter 'NETSPEC=(AUT)'. This result in an error
    message when either CHECKAUT=RM is defined in DSLPARM or the
    RMLOOKUP command is used.

Problem conclusion

  • The new messages do not require a valid business relationship
    between the home and correspondent LTs.
    The parameter 'NETSPEC=AUT' is deleted for message types MT670
    and MT671 in copy book DWSMTTTC.

    Since the S.W.I.F.T. live date is currently planned
    for 19 November 2011, this PTF must not be installed in
    production environments prior to that date.
