  • Abstract: ICEX Record A041 has garbage in it
    
    We are running IMS Connect V11.1 and the IMS Connect Extensions
    Journal
    record A041 has gardage at offset +00C2 and +00CA.
    
     +00C2  OMUSR_ORIGID....... '    2337'   Wrong Client ID
     +00CA  OMUSR_PORTID....... '46163201' wrong port #
    This is while viewing the record with IMS PI.

    The 'state data' section of HWSOMHDR was being treated
    as fixed-length, rather than honoring the true section
    length which was available in OMHDRLEN.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Change the knowledge modules for both the A041 and A042
    records to use the true section length available in
    field OMHDRLEN
