PM49093: MESSAGE EQQR629E ONLY INFORMS THAT THE JCL IS BEING UPDATED BY ANOTHER USER WITHOUT SHOWING THE USER ID OF THE UPDATING USER.

APAR status

• Closed as unreproducible in next release.

Error description

• The problem can be recreated as follow:
  1) In TWSz Dialog System, please enter : 5.4 to go to the Error
  List;
  after that enter the command line "J" to edit the JCL of any
  operation ended in Error.
  Then  open another Dialog session and performed the same
  with the same operation. In this time you will get the short
  message
  "CONCURRENT UPDATE" and hitting PF1 (help key) you will
  the long error message:
  " EQQR629E The JCL is being updated by another user,
  request is rejected
  "
  As you see EQQR629E  doesn't contain the userid of the other
  user.
  This APAR has been opoened to include the USERID of the
  other updating user in the message text.
  This is not an APAR to correct a defect but to enhance the
  message text.
