    ...003T INPUT FILE IS NOT A SUPPORTED IMS LEVEL
    along with a rc=12 rc12
    
    This is a partial retrofit of QCF V310 APAR PK84781.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: Users of QCF2.1, which run IQCFCKPT program  *
    *                 to find checkpoints to be used in queues     *
    *                 recovery procedures (with IMS10 and IMS11).  *
    *                 Message: INPUT FILE IS NOT A SUPPORTED IMS   *
    *                 LEVEL shows,but the IMS level is             *
    *                 supported.                                   *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When run program IQCFCKPT with IMS10    *
    *                      and IMS11 logs, the message: INPUT FILE *
    *                      IS NOT A SUPPORTED IMS LEVEL shows.     *
    *                      The 4001 log records are checked for    *
    *                      specific length for each release, but   *
    *                      the length of IMS10 and IMS11 x'4001'   *
    *                      log records is different. The check on  *
    *                      the length is dropped for these         *
    *                      releases.                               *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The program IQCFCKPT is change to not take into account the
    length of x'4001' log records for IMS10 and IMS11.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Install the APAR and re-run the failing job.
