Comments
In support of the image copy lookup, panel ADB2USU 'Specify Utility Options - UNLOAD' is changed so that dataset names without quotes do not have the user prefix appended. UNLOAD now supports FORMAT INTERNAL. A new CMDS command allows the user to define command lists. A command list contains commands that can be used to quickly navigate to DB2 Admin functions or define commands that issues DB2 commands or SQL statements. One command list is provided by the product and one command list can be defined by customization. On top of this, the user can add more command lists. The ability to display the output of the DB2 display command as ISPF tables has been expanded and the display panel now allows the user to run Utilities on an object or all objects. This change is implemented using Work Statement Lists (WSL), and when an image copy UNLOAD is requested, the work will be done using the ADBTEP2 command interpreter program. Image copies may be selected as LAST full image copy (LAST_IC) or the previous image copy from a given date and time (BEFORE_IC) or the next image copy from a given date and time (AFTER_IC). If an eligible image copy is found, the UNLOAD will unload from that data set. If an eligible image copy is not found the user can control whether an error is produced or the UNLOAD will get the data from the base object as an alternative. Both DB2 Unload and HPU are supported. Since LOB/XML table spaces cannot be unloaded from an image copy, the user will also be able to control whether the UNLOAD fails with an error or the unload will get the data from the base object as an alternative.
