instead of an empty string "" when the servlet's web module is
deployed on the root context

When an application is deployed in the default context (that
is,
the context root is / ), ServletContext.getContextPath()
returns a forward slash instead of an empty string.

Problem conclusion

The WebContainer code was modified to correctly return an
empty string.

A new WebContainer customer property needs to be set to enable
the new behavior:


com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.returnDefaultContextPath = true
(default is false)
