Error description

  • ui_hide "show" parameter only works for the first group even if
iFix 8.4.105.1114 for APAR PM42894/PK92743 is applied.  Tested
using predefined groups such as RSUsers or QSUsers.  According
to Administration and Security Guide, we can also set multiple
predefined groups. So, the parameter should work for not only
custom groups but also predefined groups.   This symptom occurs
on Cognos 10 FP1, too.  PM42894?ui_hide "show" paremeter in
system.xml only works for the first group specified (duplicate
of PK92743 )  PK92743  CAN NOT CONTROL ACCESS BY ROLE TO KEEP

Local fix

  • 1 Apply iFix 8.4.105.1114 and use custom group  or
2 Add only 1 predefined group
