PM47180: DFH0STAT NEEDS TO HAVE STATISTICS FOR INCORRECT FILE REQUEST AND EXCP COUNTS ALSO FOR NEGATIVE PARTITION GETVIS SIZES

Error description

• When you are running the DFH0STAT job to report statistical
  values the following fields return incorrect values:
  1. Incorrect file request and EXCP counts
  2. Negative Partition Getvis sizes
  This apar is being created to correct the values reported to
  CICS.

  *                      for file counters and a negative value  *
  *                      for Partition Getvis usage.             *

  COBOL field definitions may cause truncation or bad results in
  the DFH0STAT Files report section.
  
  Not using the TRUNC(BIN) compiler option may cause negative
  values to be shown for Partition GETVIS usage above 16Mb.
  
  The reported partition size from the ALLOC parameter is always
  1K less than the actual size.
  

Problem conclusion

• DFH0STAT has been changed to correct the reported errors.
  
  Values shown in the report's Files section will now display with
  10 digits of precision (ZZZZZZZZZ9) instead of 8 digits
  (ZZ,ZZZ,ZZ9).
  
  The customer must compile DFH0STAT in order to activate the fix
  for APAR PM47180.
