PM47068: AFTER NEWCOPY GET FETCH FAILED IEW4008I, IEW4005I, CSV031I, AND AEI0 PGMIDERR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• You have new applications which have been copied to a load
  library and in doing so it increased the number of extents
  allocated.   Programs were then newcopied (CEMT SET NEWCOPY) and
  the response from the newcopy was normal.  You later see z/OS
  messages IEW4008I, IEW4005I, CSV031I and abend AEI0 (PGMIDERR)
  errors.

  The trace shows EXTENT-ERROR and then a CLOSE and RE-OPEN for
  the data set.

  it has received an EXTENT-ERROR. If a program which has been
  newcopied attempts to access this DFHRPL data set whilst it is
  closed it will receive the PGMIDERR.

Problem conclusion

• DFHLDLD1 has been changed to not return PGMIDERR when the
  application program library is in the process of being closed
  and reopened.
  
  The CICS Transaction Server V4.1 Supplementary Data Areas
  (GC34-7015-02) Section PLIBE - PROGRAM LIBRARY ELEMENT
  has been updated to add a new 02 bit in the reserved
  02 bit for byte PLIBE_LIB_STATE offset 34B.
