    User application using HP Unload API gets into long-wait,
    when the HSSR GU calls are issued to HALDB.
    Internally, BSAM CHECK macros are issued twice erroneously
    without an intervening READ macro at changing the target
    partition.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The internal cause is that the BSAM CHECK macro is issued
    but an IO pointer (HDMCIO) is not cleared correctly for an
    overlapped I/O when the following request is for another
    partition's blocks. For the IO pointer, the CHECK macro is
    issued again.
    
    The modules FABHA02 and FABHA03 are modified as to clear the IO
    pointer correctly.
