PM45086: DATA MANAGER NETEZZA LOADER DOES NOT RETRIEVE THE DATA SOURCE USERNAME AND PASSWORD

Error description

• Data Manager Netezza Loader module does not pass the username
  and password from the Netezza data source to the nzload command
  line.????The Netezza data source in Data Manager catalog is an
  ODBC data source that has an optional username and password
  property.  When running the Netezza loader module the username
  and password is not placed into the nzload command that Data
  Manager generates.  The only way we have been able to get the
  nzload command line to correctly authenticate is by adding both
  the NZ_USER and NZ_PASSWORD environment variables.  This caiuses
  us to list the password in plain text as an environment
  variable.????This issue has been replicated in Data Manager 8.4,
  8.4.1 and 10.1.
  

Local fix

• A workaround exists : in the delivery module properties set the
  value of the "Loader Command" property to be : "<your path to nz
  load>/nzload.exe" -u username  The password is correctly passed
  from the ODBC data source properties so there is no need to set
  NZ_USER or NZ_PASSWORD using this technique.
