APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ABEND052 can occur when maintenance is applied involving a
  recycle of the Master Address Space (CQMMSTR). LPA resident
  module CQM#CQMA will not be refreshed after a MASTER recycle
  unless some    intervening operator commands are entered
  
  Code is being added to remove the LPA requirement for CQM#CQMA
  from the CQMMSTR initialization process and allow maintenance to
  be applied without the need for intervening operator commands
  

Local fix

• Workaround option 1:
  
  Schedule CQM maintenance to coincide with a system IPL to ensure
  LPA is refreshed at IPL time.
  
  Workaround option 2:
  
  Alternatively, the following steps can be used after CQM
  maintenance has been applied to eliminate the S052 ABENDS:
  
  1.Stop CQMMSTR Note:
  
  The recommended procedure for stopping the
  CQMMSTR (after all instances of Query Monitor and Audit
  Management Expert running on the MVS image have been stopped),
  is to start CQM with PARM=.SM,MSTOP. (refer to SCQMSAMP member
  CQMMSTR for an example of the "SM,MSTOP" parameters). This will
  ensure an orderly cleanup of the shared memory allocation and
  termination of the CQMMSTR address space. If customer is only
  running Query Monitor, the CQMMSTR still needs to cycled.
  
  2. Issue SETPROG LPA,DELETE,MODNAME=(CQM#CQMA),FORCE=YES
  repeatedly until following message is seen:
  
  CSV551I 18.21.04 LPA DELETE 302
  SUCCESSFUL: 0 UNSUCCESSFUL: 1 NOT PROCESSED:
  0 MODULE RESULT
  CQM#CQMA NOT SUCCESSFUL. NOT IN DYNAMIC LPA
  
  3. Issue SETPROG LPA,DELETE,MODNAME=(CQM#CQMI),FORCE=YES
  repeatedly until following message is seen:
  
  CSV551I 18.21.04 LPA DELETE 302
  SUCCESSFUL: 0 UNSUCCESSFUL: 1 NOT PROCESSED: 0
  MODULE RESULT
  CQM#CQMI NOT SUCCESSFUL. NOT IN DYNAMIC LPA
  
  4. Start CQM
