Error description

  • When updating records in a stateless record type in ClearQuest
    clint (eclise RCP) import, Importing records to update work fine
    successfully, but the result shows success import 0 in the
    console window.

    * Steps to reproduce
    
    1. Use the Out of box SAMPLE user database.
    2. Launch the CQ Eclipse RCP client.
    3. File ? Export ? Records
    4. Select a stateless record type ' Customer '.
    5. Export records into a file.
    
    6. Modify the exported file for updating and save it.
    
    7. File ? Import ? Records
    8. Select a stateless record type ' Customer ' in Step 1.
    9. Check the [Importing updates to existing... ] in Step 3.
    10. Select the modified exported file for the Record data.
    11. Select a unique key field name 'Name' in the [Importing
    Record Updates, .....]
    12. Execute to import.
    
    *13. See the message in the Console windows. ( ?- a defect
    point)
    
    14. Run a query 'All customer' to check updated records.
    (Records itself are updated properly)
    
    If a user attempts to update thousands records. there is no way
    to confirm how many records are successfully imported in this
    case. It gets the user confused.

    When importing stateless records using the CQ Eclipse

    import 0' and 'Failed import 0' regardless of whether the
    record was imported correctly.
    

Problem conclusion
