Problem summary

• ****************************************************************
  * USERS AFFECTED: All users of DB2 Administration Tool for     *
  *                 z/OS who have created Change Management      *
  *                 function ADBCHG tables that contain the      *
  *                 columns RIDGEN_ALWAYS and/or TMSGEN_ALWAYS.  *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The previously provided SADBSAMP member *
  *                      ADBCHANG contained two incorrect column *
  *                      names (RIDGEN_ALWAYS and TMSGEN_ALWAYS) *
  *                      which would cause the foreground change *
  *                      management analyze process to fail with *
  *                      a DSNT408I SQLCODE -206 / SQLCODEN206,  *
  *                      ERROR:                                  *
  *                      RIDGENA IS NOT VALID IN THE CONTEXT     *
  *                      WHERE IT IS USED. The panel is          *
  *                      referencing the first correct column    *
  *                      name (RIDGENA). This APAR provides a    *
  *                      corrected SADBSAMP member ADBCHANG      *
  *                      with correctly named columns in the     *
  *                      ADBCHG table.                           *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  As described but to fix this issue, first identify if any ADBCHG
  tables have the incorrect column names (RIDGEN_ALWAYS and
  TMSGEN_ALWAYS). If you find any of these tables, you can run
  the SADBSAMP member ADBCHU12 against those tables. This will
  append the ADBCHG table with the correct columns (RIDGENA and
  TMSGENA). The purpose of this APAR is to correct the content of
  the SADBSAMP member ADBCHANG in the event you use this member
  to create or recreate the change management database.
  

Problem conclusion

• The SADBSAMP library member ADBCHANG has been corrected.
