PM41873: ORF MESSAGE ABOUT TOO MUCH XCF TRAFFIC RESULTS IN JOB FAILURE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When trying to send (via XCFMSGO) a record to the ORF job,
  XCF returns "no more buffer". This causes the ORF job to fail.
  There is no chance to wait for a short period of time and retry
  as ORF is running under the IMS logger TCB.

  This causes the ORF job to fail.
  There is not a chance to wait for a short time
  and retry as we are in the IMS logger TCB.
  

Problem conclusion

• There is the possibility that the "out of buffer"
  situation is caused when the dispatching priority
  of the ORF job is too small, so it falls behind.  The
  other posibility is that the ORF job gets swapped
  out.  This PTF will make the ORF address space non
  swappable.
