Error description

  • Data Manager email nodes containing attachments will fail with
    the following error if the Maximum size of an uncompressed email
    attachment in MB is set to anything other than 0 on the
    DeliveryService properties in IBM Cognos Administration :??DM
    Failed to send email via DLS??DM-RCI-0110 Data Manager RCI
    Interface Error (RCI_SoapFaultException - ): DM Failed to send
    email via DLS??CCL-RCI-0002 The Soap server returned a Soap
    fault.?The error messages from WASP engine: ???<Exception

Local fix

  • Set the Maximum size of an uncompressed email attachment in MB t
    o 0 in the DeliveryService properties.
    
    This is not acceptable as it is required for emailing reports fr
    om IBM Cognos Connection.
