Error description

  • SCENARIO:
    - This issue is very similar to the one from Tech note
    https://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1PM14474, which
    has been fixed.
    - Impacts Change 5.3
    - This issue is more likely to happen with Internet Explorer
    (any version, 7, 8, 9) as the text selection in Firefox is more
    accurate.
    - The exact scenario is described in the attached file. SEE
    ATTACHED FILE.

    Copy(CTRL+C) the entire content of a CCM_EXTENDED_TEXT field
    in IE and paste(CTRL+V) it to a CCM_EXTENDED_TEXT field
    while submitting CR in IE/FF. The frame/outline of the
    source CCM_EXTENDED_TEXT attribute has also been copied in
    the clipboard, and has generated an additional ?cell? in the
    target CCM_EXTENDED_TEXT.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed in IBM Rational Change Fix Pack 5.3.0.2.
