Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of Transaction Analysis Workbench V1.1 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ABEND0C9 in module FUW65Z when * * processing SMF type 101 Accounting * * records for DB2 V10. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The SMF type 101 DB2 accounting record has changed significantly in DB2 V10. This caused ABENDs or incorrect output in reporting. This APAR provides complete support for DB2 V10: 1. The formatting of DB2 SMF records in the ISPF dialog is now DB2 release dependent. Additional improvements are support for 64 bit integers (no longer displayed in HEX format) and STCK time stamps formatted in time of day or elapsed time format, depending on context. 2. The SMF(101) batch report that summarizes DB2 thread activity now supports DB2 V10. The report format is unchanged, except for a new Rollup counter that tallies the number of tasks that were rolled up (in a single accounting record) for DDF (ZPARM ACCUMACC) and parallel tasks (ZPARM PTASKROL). Note: APAR PM34534 provided support for compressed DB2 SMF records. Other minor fixes: 1. SMF(70-1) CPU Processor utilization report no longer uses SMF70BNP to count the number of CPs. This caused incorrect values for "%CPU Busy" and "IO Rate". 2. SMF(64) VSAM Statistics report is changed to report only I/O activity that occurred during the interval, not all activity since the data set was created. 3. New message FUW0018I issued when batch processing of a log or SMF input file has completed. This message provides information about: a. The time range of the file (when matched to the associated FUW0005I message) b. The number of records read from the file. FUW0018I Log File processing has ended; DDname=xxxxxxxx Time=yyyy-mm-dd hh.mm.ss.thmiju Records read=12345678 Explanation: The specified Log file data set has been closed. Either the reporting stop time or end of file has been reached. The number of records that were read from the file is not indicative of the number of records that were reported; see message FUW0007I for the records reported count. System Action: Processing continues. User Response: None. 4. ABEND0C4 in module FUWSPROC at offset +1DA 5. ABEND0C4 in module FUWSAPPC at offset +4EE
Problem conclusion
Code has been added or modified for the above issues. User action: 1. SMP/E Receive and Apply the fix. 2. Restart Transaction Analysis Workbench.
