Error description

  • When one of the following error occurs, the Remote VSAM debugger
produces the same error code.

Any error of data access is always the default EGL errorcode =
1212.

Exemple:

1212 - wrong VSAM Record data lenght, mismatch with VSAM Dataset
length.
1212 ? Conection failure.
1212 ? Vsam dataset unavailable (close).
1212 ? Dataset notfound.

It is a big problem for analysis and correction of defects.?
