Error description

  • When  the ActiveX object MSComDlg (comdlg32.ocx) is not
registered properly after installing DOORS and an excel file
which contains a macro that references this ActiveX object is
save, some excel errors are thrown.

A workaround is to register  'comdlg32.ocx' manually.
'regsvr32  C:\WINDOWS\system32\comdlg32.ocx'

Problem conclusion


    

  • There are no plans to fix this APAR and it is being
rejected.  There is a valid workaround to resolve the issue.
