PM38863: HPIC DOES NOT SET THE DEFAULT VALUE OF T2CHK (0,7)

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using HPIC IMS AsIs JCL with Hash Check, HPIC does not pass
  the default value of T2CHK. So HPPC regards as (0,0).
  
  With this APAR, HPIC will pass T2CHK=(,0,7). But T2CHK value can
  not be modified.

  *                      As a result, HP Image Copy terminates   *
  *                      with RC=02.                             *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  When HP Image Copy function runs in IMS-compatible JCL with
  HASH check option, HP Image Copy does not set the correct
  threshold value of T2CHK. Consequence of this, HASH check
  reports T2 error for the DB which has less than 8 bytes unknown
  data in the DB, and HP Image Copy terminates with RC=02.
  

Problem conclusion

• FABJDMPN has been modified to set and pass value (0,7) as the
  threshold value of T2CHK when scheduling the HASH check option.
  
  The following modules have been reassembled:
  FABJDMP7, FABJDMP8, FABJDMP9, FABJDMPA and FABJDMPB
